The Concerned citizens of Sekyere Afram Plains at Drobonso in the Ashanti Region have expressed their disgust over the rampant burning of cash crops by Fulani herdsmen in the Sekyere Afram Plains.

Addressing their ordeal today in an interview with the media, the Chairman of concerned citizens of Sekyere Afram Plains Mr. Boakye Yiadom used the opportunity to appeal to the district chief Executive of Sekyere Afram Plains Hon Suleman Hamidu, and other security agencies to come to the aid of farmers from Fulani herdsmen.

According to him, the continuous burning of cash crops will create a war between the Fulani herdsmen and the farmers at Drobonso, therefore there’s an urgent need for stakeholders to have a word of caution to the Fulani herdsmen.
