Member of Parliament for Okaikwei North constituency, Hon.Theresa Lardi Awuni has described the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Nana Ama Dokuaa Asiamah Adjei as a political tourist, who will be permanently retired from active politics after the 2024 election.

According to the vociferous legislature, the two times Deputy Minister as well as MP seized the opportunity to abandoned her own Akuapem North constituency to contest in Okaikwei North constituency is welcoming development for the good people of Okaikwei North.

Hon.Theresa Lardi Awuni spoke to Kwadwo Baffour in an exclusive interview during the NDC Functional Executive Committee (FEC), inaugural ceremony for the Special Operations Committee and other committees at the party’s headquarters at Adabraka in Accra, she took a swipe at the MP for Akuapem North and questioned her credibility and vision for Okaikwei North constituency.

She said, I respect Dokuaa but someone who cannot deliver meaningful progress, run and also unite her constituency as well as party, I wonder how she is going to win Okaikwei North constituency.

She reiterated that, I’m going to permanently retire the political tourist from politics in the Okaikwei North constituency.

She however added, that her appointment to the special operations committee ahead of the 2024 general elections is a peculiar task for herself and the rest of the members to deliver an impact fully to attain victory for the NDC and former President John Dramani Mahama .
