The Bomukye Festival being celebrated at Amanase is still ongoing and a whole week fully packed with different activities is arranged to make the event a memorable one.
The aim of the Bomukye Festival, is to bring all the people of Amanase far and near home to celebrate with their families and also promote the sustainability of their organic Coacoa free of all chemicals.
Speaking of Michael Kodua, he summarised day 2 of the event and said, the day in question is for Akwambo which means cleaning up the community because the will be a huge number of people at the grand Durbar which will be the last day and so the town needs to look clean to promote their good Image.
Nana Anobaah Nyante I revealed to the media that Amanse produces one of the finest Gari in Ghana but since Cocoa Farming is the First cultivation they started, the town now wants to make it known to the whole of Ghana that the Sustainable Cocoa Festival is not just a jargon but to attain higher heights with Cocoa Cultivation and farming in Ghana.
He disclosed that all the money that will be gained from the Festival will be used to build a Police Station to enhance security even though the town is a peaceful one.
