The Queen Mother for Amanase in the Eastern Region, Nana Ansaa Ayaw I has urged all her people home and abroad to come to their hometown, Amanase as they celebrate the Amanase Bomukye Sustainable Coacoa Festival.

Before the Festival, the Queen Mother has organized a health walk fully packed with other activities like games, eating, and cooking to boost the people’s energy ahead of the main event which is to celebrate the quality of their cocoa and how good they’ve sustained it.

The first event was the walk which was to help the people exercise.

She disclosed that the Festival is to unite all the people who hail from Amanase and also show the world what they have got in terms of culture.

One of the coordinators of the event fully packed with different activities before the main event said that some of the activities were a Mass funeral to remember their ancestors, a Non-denominational Church Service to Praise God for how far He has brought them, and the Festival’s name means, Bomukye)which mean they will cook and eat together as one).
