A member and former parliamentary candidate of the Subin Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joseph Boakye Danquah, who was a contender for Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi, has stated that he is ready to go for an independent parliamentary candidate for Subin constituency to serve his people without the NPP.
This revelation was made today in a news conference that he was going to run as an independent parliamentary candidate in the Subin Constituency.
According to the former contender, Eugene Boakye Danquah, he has come up with a new vision and direction for his people, which he believes can be possible with or without the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He explained that he has been cheated on several occasions in the primaries of the NPP, and nothing will stop him this time from contesting to serve his people.
“I am not a slave to any political party; I am a slave to my people. “I have been cheated for so long, and now nobody can prevent me from contesting to help my people,” he stressed.
Adding to that, he chose to serve his people through the NPP but was denied and has cheated so many times, but this time he is poised to cause a change in Subin Constituency.
Hon Joseph Boakye Danquah accused the NPP party as a party they don’t respect the rule of law.
They veered away from the core principle of NPP.
Moreover, Hon Joseph Boakye Danquah also added that the Subin constituency lacks developmental projects due to the unperformed leadership they have in the Constituency.
He said the time has come for the constituents to vote for JB Danquah to change the fortune of Subin constituency.
