Residents of the Shaeefer Electoral Area in Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono region have pleaded with Nananom and the leaders of the Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly to ensure that a forest zone surrounded by their residential area is cleared to avoid the continuous invasion of robbers, snakes, and other dangerous reptiles to their homes.
Speaking to Kwaku Mensah Abrampa in an exclusive interview, some residents lamented that they have been surrounded by the bushy environment for almost 7years now where people go for Nature’s call with others hiding there to smoke and subsequently rob the empty house whenever they step out for work because these perpetrators hiding in the bush always notice when the inhabitants go out hence using their absence to ransack them completely.
They expressed how the frequent defecation exposes them to Cholera and Typhoid during the Rainy season hence they pleaded with Nanamom and other stakeholders to as a matter of urgency direct the owner of that bushy land to clear the site to prevent the dangerous reptiles and robbers from attacking them.
