The aged, widows, and persons with disability (PWDs) in the Kwahu Nkwatia Community have had a taste of the goodness during the Festive season hosted by the Nkosuohene of Kwahu Nkwatia.
Nana Owiredu Wadie, feeds and Parties with over 300 widows, aged, and persons with disability (PWD)) at Kwahu Nkwatia which was held at the Freedom Hills Hotel Event Centre, where people from various areas engaged.
Opanyin Kwame Wadie, the Father of Nana Owiredu Wadie, who was present at the ceremony said that the Wadie Family will always open their doors to support their kingsmen from Kwahu Nkwatia.
On behalf of Nana Owiredu Wadie, the Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation, Henry Larbi, said the gesture aims to ensure that everyone in the Community can partake in the Festive spirit since it embodies joy, love, and generosity, Nana Owiredu Wadie, decided to extend the festive joy to those facing difficulties in celebrating.
He emphasized that the donation has been one of the Foundation’s social interventions and an annual tradition aimed at making a lasting impact on the lives of those who may need assistance during the festive season.
The items distributed include 5kg bags of rice, cooking oil, Tin-tomatoes, mackerel, and others to individuals to mark their Festive season.
The Assemblyman of the Dompem Electoral Area in Kwahu Nkwatia, Hon Daniel Agyapong together with his fellow Assemblyman and unit committee member in Kwahu Nkwatia who mobilized the beneficiaries was elated for the continued support of Nana Owiredu Wadie and Kabaka Foundation doing for the people of Kwahu Nkwatia.
Beneficiaries thanked Nana Owiredu Wadie, for his timely support and prayed for him to succeed in his endeavor, they also expressed gratitude for the unexpected blessing and appreciated the thoughtful gifts from Kabaka Foundation and the team whiles noted the act the donation not only brought smiles to the faces of the recipients but also strengthened community bonding.
