No Contest in Ayawaso Central constituency – Henry Quartey Jabs

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central and doubles as Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey has described his race for re-election, as he is being contested by two others as no contest.

According to him, the elections are also an opportunity for the other aspirants to showcase their strengths on 27th January 2024.

He said by the grace of God, which I serve, this race between Master and servant.

Addressing the media, after vetting yesterday, Hon. Henry Quartey explained that, while the NPP thrives on democracy, he has every indication that he would easily outclass his two aspirants in the race.

He added that NPP thrives in democracy, so we have not stopped anybody from contesting, however, I want to assure the delegates that the election will be free and fair.

On the part of the former Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer and a servant to the MP, also an aspirant, Mr. Moses Abor has urged his former boss to stop bragging .

According to him, 80 percent of Ayawaso Central votes from 2012 till date are a result of his vigorous campaign and efforts in securing victories in the constituency.

He however said the people of Ayawaso Central are tired of the incumbent MP and so they are calling for change and new energy so he should rather consider it to leave in peace.

He finally called for a free and fair process and elections on 27th January, 2024.
