Ayawaso west wuogon parliamentary aspirant hopeful, Mr. Samuel Owusu Amankwaah has been disqualified from the race.
He said the vetting committee engaged him and told him to step down for the incumbent MP to go Unopposed.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kwadwo Baffour, Mr. Owusu Amankwa said he told the committee that, he will not step – down for the incumbent MP to go Unopposed because he is fighting for democracy and integrity.
He alleged that the committee made an offer of cash, ministerial appointment, and other relevant promises to him to step – down or the party regional leadership would show him mafia tactics.
He, however, mentioned that the party disqualified him based on failure to pay party dues for only three months, which is insufficient, and inability to identify the constituency properly.
