Hon Sarah Adwoa Safo, the Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has filed her nomination forms to seek re-election in the January New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.

It is the fourth bid to get the mandate of the constituents to represent them as Members of Parliament since 2013.

The election committee chairman received the forms duly filled at the constituency chairman’s house in the presence of the constituency chairman, Mr Robert Bonsu, and the Constituency Secretary.

Hundreds of delegates including polling station executives of the Dome Kwabenya Constituency accompany the Member of Parliament to file her nomination forms while drumming, singing, and dancing to Jama songs through the principal streets of Dome and Haasto.

The Election Committee also advised all the aspirants to refrain from campaign of insult. They urged the aspirants to maintain peace and love before, during, and after the primaries.

The Constituency Chairman, Robert Bonsu spoke to the media. He also explained why nomination forms were received in his house.
