The National House of Chiefs in Ghana has called on all stakeholders involved in the electoral process to prioritize the establishment of a peaceful and transparent environment for the upcoming 2024 elections.

The National House of Chiefs emphasized that the failure to ensure free and fair elections could lead the country into the dark chapters of violence that marred previous elections.

Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, the President of the National House of Chiefs, made these remarks during a meeting in Kumasi.

He highlighted the importance of a transparent electoral process in preventing the violence that has characterized past elections.
