Sarah Adwoa Safo, the Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has submitted her nomination forms for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries scheduled for January.
This marks her fourth attempt to secure the mandate of her constituents since 2013. The nomination forms were received by the election committee chairman at the constituency chairman’s house, with the presence of the constituency chairman, Mr. Robert Bonsu, and the Constituency Secretary.
During the submission, hundreds of delegates and polling station executives from Dome Kwabenya Constituency accompanied Adwoa Safo, engaging in drumming, singing, and dancing through the principal streets of Dome and Haasto.
Following the submission, Adwoa Safo addressed the delegates, expressing her commitment to serving them.
The Election Committee emphasized the importance of a respectful campaign, urging all aspirants to avoid insults and maintain peace and love before, during, and after the primaries.
Constituency Chairman Robert Bonsu explained the decision to receive nomination forms at his house and emphasized the need for a peaceful and respectful campaign.
According to him, the party office is under renovation, which makes it very appropriate for the aspirants to file their nomination forms at his house.
