John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized the government for what he perceives as the politicization of premix fuel distribution.

During an interaction with fisherfolk in Axim, in the Western Region, as part of his “Building the Ghana We Want” tour, Mahama acknowledged concerns raised by locals who claimed they do not have access to premix fuel for fishing.

In response, Mahama criticized the ruling government, blaming it for undermining the work of artisanal fishers.

He expressed his commitment to improving the fisheries sector and promised substantial changes if elected in the upcoming general elections.
