Nana Kota Ntiamoah, the recently installed chief for Norway and Nkosuo Hene of Saaben Akrofrom, emphasizes the importance of preserving certain aspects of Ashanti tradition and cultural heritage, advocating that they should remain untouched by modernization.

In an interview with newsmen during his visit to a Ghanaian community that had relocated from Norway to Ghana for Christmas celebrations and to learn about Asante tradition and culture, Nana Kota Ntiamoah stated that even though culture is dynamic, some aspects of our culture should not be modernized for any gains.

He called on all Ashanti individuals who have traveled from the Ashanti land to other countries to utilize the Asante language and culture in teaching their children in their homes.

This, he believes, will contribute to passing down the rich Asante culture to the younger generation.
