Mr. Nicholas Asamoah, the Headmaster of Dormaa Senior High School (DORMASS), has urged alumni to view the development of their alma mater as a friendly competition among their respective graduating classes.
The continuous growth of Dormaa Senior High School necessitates additional facilities to accommodate its increasing student population.
This call was made during an event where the 1993 year group honored students who achieved 5th place at the National level of the Energy Commission Challenge Competition this year.
Each of the three students received a citation and an undisclosed amount of money.
Dr. Michael Addai, the President of the 1993 year group, who is a lecturer at Accra Technical University and Vice Chairman of Dormass Old Students Association (DOSA), presented the awards.
He offered advice to the participants, encouraging them to reach for the sky and maintain discipline as they venture into the world.
The awardees from Dormass, namely Falama Emmanuel, Frimpomaa Jessica Anna, and Asante Kingsley Tanor, conveyed their gratitude to the school management and alumni for the recognition and pledged to continue giving their best.
