Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, has publicly responded to a restraining order that prevented him from attending the final funeral rites of the Berekumhene.

Addressing the issue in Dormaa on Thursday, November 23, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II expressed his disappointment over being barred from the late Omanhene’s final funeral rites.

He emphasized that he had planned to attend the funeral to honor the late Berekumhene and pay his last respects, but unfortunately, he was not allowed to do so.

Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II revealed that the ministers of National Security and Chieftaincy called him for a discussion on the issue, and he responded with laughter.

While he stated that he would not comment further on the development, he urged the people of Berekum to remember that they may need him one day.
