Government undertakes road repairs to enhance access to tourist sites in Ghana- GTA CEO assures

Akwasi Agyeman, the Chief Executive of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), has announced that the government, through the Roads Ministry, has undertaken road repairs to improve access to major tourist sites in the country.

He specified that roads leading to key attractions such as Kakum National Park, Aburi Botanical Gardens, and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum are currently accessible.

Agyeman provided assurance that the government is committed to addressing road infrastructure challenges, and those roads still in poor condition will be fixed in due course.

He mentioned that the Roads Ministry has pledged to construct a minimum of 50 kilometers of roads leading to tourist sites annually until all such roads are upgraded.
