Mr. Robert Osei, popularly known as Atulupepe, the Patron for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Manso Nkwanta constituency of the Ashanti region, has called upon the NPP government to prioritize and intensify developmental projects in the region.
Atulupepe emphasized that the Ashanti region, being the stronghold of the governing party, deserves enhanced development to meet the expectations of its supporters.
According to Atulupepe, the Ashanti Region has played a crucial role in the success of the NPP, and as such, it should receive special attention in terms of developmental initiatives.
Speaking to the media in an interview, Atulupepe expressed the sentiments of many in the Ashanti region who are reportedly dissatisfied with the current level of developmental projects in the area.
He urged the NPP government to invest in more projects if they intend to break the so-called “eight (8) jinx,” referring to the tradition of political parties alternating in power every eight years.
While expressing confidence in the NPP government, Atulupepe stated that the region anticipates witnessing substantial development before the 2024 elections.
In addition to the call for increased development, Atulupepe also advocated for unity and love among supporters of Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to strengthen the party’s position in the region.
