The Executive Director of Dream Alive Foundation, Daniel Osabutey, has advised parents to carefully assess the actual performance of various schools before enrolling their children.

This advice comes in the wake of the release of the BECE provisional results by the West African Examination Council (WAEC), which revealed that over 22,000 candidates’ scripts are under scrutiny due to examination malpractices.

Mr. Osabutey expressed concerns about the reported examination irregularities and attributed them to poor supervision by WAEC and the invigilators assigned to oversee the candidates. He emphasized the need for WAEC to implement thorough scrutiny and appoint supervisors who are not susceptible to external influence.

Highlighting the significance of the issue, Osabutey advised parents to go beyond the success stories promoted by schools and focus more on the teaching and learning methods employed by the institutions.
