The five-day voter exhibition exercise conducted by the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) ahead of the district level and unit committee elections is concluding today, Tuesday, November 7.
This exercise commenced on Friday, November 3, taking place at all 38,622 polling stations throughout the country.
The exhibition exercise ran for four days, from 7:00am to 6:00pm each day, and its purpose was to provide prospective voters with the opportunity to verify their details as recorded in the voter register, especially for those who were registered during the limited registration period between Tuesday, September 12, and Monday, October 2.
Reports suggest that there has been a consistent issue of low turnout at many of the exhibition centers. Hot News has spoken to some EC officials regarding this matter.
