NDC is not concerned about Bawumia’s victory-Buem MP

The Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency in the Oti Region, Kofi Adams, has refuted claims that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is genuinely apprehensive about the newly elected flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Dr. Bawumia emerged as the winner following the NPP’s national delegates’ conference over the weekend, securing 61 percent of the votes compared to Kennedy Agyepong’s 37 percent.

There have been allegations that the NDC was concerned about Dr. Bawumia because he might lead the NPP to break the eight-year cycle of governance.

However, speaking on the Morning Drive with Kwabena Prah, also known as “The Don,” Mr. Kofi Adams stated that the NDC has no fears regarding the victory of the Vice President.

He argued that Dr. Bawumia is in line with President Akufo Addo, both of whom he believes have not delivered on their promises to improve the country’s economy.
