The District Chief Executive for Kwahu East, Mr. Isaac Adgyapong, has expressed his appreciation to the Chief of Kwahu Nkwatia, Nana Boamah Ayirepe III, and his elders for their significant contributions to education in Nkwatia, particularly in basic schools.
During a ceremony to hand over 203 dual and mono desks, Mr. Isaac Adgyapong praised the Chief and his support for education.
Mr. Adgyapong highlighted the government’s commitment to fulfilling its promise of making education accessible to all, mentioning initiatives like free SHS and other social interventions.
He emphasized that governance is a collective responsibility and commended Nana Boamah Ayirepe III, Kwahu Nkwatiahene, and his elders for their contributions to enhancing quality education.
The Kwahu East Education Director, Mr. Robert Anda Money, added that schools in Kwahu East are facing a significant shortage of chairs and appealed to individuals and organizations to support basic schools.
He mentioned efforts to organize a reading competition quiz to improve children’s reading abilities and encouraged school heads to maintain the chairs received.
Nana Boamah Ayirepe III, Kwahu Nkwatiahene, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting basic education in Nkwatia, regardless of the circumstances, in his statement.
