The Third Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Masawud Osman, is recommending to the recently elected party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahumudu Bawumia, that he should consider making Kennedy Agyepong his running mate.
Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President, emerged victorious in the national delegates’ conference, where he pledged to unify the party for the upcoming general elections.
Prior to the elections, there were intense campaign messages, including Kennedy Agyepong’s threat of a potential showdown with Dr. Bawumia.
However, Kennedy Agyepong has now accepted the election results and committed to remaining with the NPP.
During an interview with Kwabena Prah, popularly known as “The Don,” the host of the Morning Drive on Hot FM, the Third Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Masawud Osman, is proposing that Kennedy Agyepong and Dr. Bawumia join forces to lead the NPP into the upcoming general elections.
