Frank Dramado, the Assembly Member for Adidome Central, is urging the government, institutions, and individuals to provide assistance in the form of sanitary pads and other essential items.
He noted that some of the affected residents, particularly women, lack access to sanitary pads for hygienic menstruation.
Mr. Dramado revealed that 34 communities in his electoral area have been affected, with 559 houses destroyed, and significant damage to farmland and other properties.
He called for support from both individuals and the government in the form of sanitary pads, as well as items like baby diapers and wheelchairs for the disabled.
During an interview on Hot FM Morning Drive with Kwabena Prah, known as “The Don,” the Assembly Member emphasized the urgency of these needs for the affected communities.
