Majority Caucus criticizes Minority for politicizing Akosombo Dam spillage

The majority caucus in parliament has criticized the minority for turning the Akosombo dam spillage into a political issue.

The minority caucus, during the start of the third meeting, made several allegations against the government, accusing it of mishandling the situation and calling for the Energy Minister to be summoned before the house.

However, the majority chief whip, Frank Annoh Dompreh, has stated that the actions of the minority are self-serving and aimed at tarnishing the government’s image in the eyes of the public.

During today’s parliamentary session, he reiterated the government’s commitment to restoring the livelihoods of the affected individuals.
