Lions Clubs International to host forum in Ghana to empower African leaders in natural resource management”

Multiple African districts of Lions Clubs International are coming together to host a forum in Ghana with the aim of addressing the under-exploitation of natural resources in African countries and promoting economic and infrastructural development.

This forum aims to unite representatives from all 54 African nations to discuss the issues related to the underutilization of Africa’s abundant natural resources.

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwwah Akufo-Addo is expected to deliver an address to all participants during the event.

The forum is scheduled to take place from November 15th to November 18th, 2023.

During a press launch, Kate Baaba Hudson, the District Governor of District 418 in the Ghana Chapter of Lions Clubs International, emphasized that Africa is rich in natural resources, but the primary challenge lies in effectively harnessing these resources.

She noted that this forum will serve as a platform to impart knowledge and skills to various African leaders, helping them develop innovative approaches to maximize the utilization of their natural resources and, in turn, enhance the economic well-being of their countries.
