In the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region, a 32-year-old man named Richard Ayi-quaye is fighting for his life after being stabbed multiple times by his uncle during a misunderstanding in Awutu Bereku.
The incident occurred on the morning of Friday, October 27, 2023. According to the victim, he was sent by one of his uncles to deliver a message to his mother.
After delivering the message to his mother, his uncle, identified as Anna, pulled out a knife and stabbed him without apparent reason.
The victim explained that his uncle told him to inform his mother that he intended to evict everyone from the family house because it was too dirty, which was preventing people from renting the property.
When delivering the message to his mother, the uncle attacked him with a knife, stabbing him multiple times on his face, shoulder, and other parts of his body.
The case was reported to the Awutu Bereku Police Station for investigation, and the victim and his parents are demanding justice from the police.
