President Nana Akufo-Addo has publicly disclosed the reasons behind his choice of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate, shedding light on why he selected him over other well-qualified members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to President Akufo-Addo, he values Dr. Bawumia for his honesty and his commitment to achieving team goals.

He also mentioned the importance of having someone from the northern region to assist in governing the country and promoting national unity.

The President shared these insights when he responded to a question posed by Adwoa Boadiwaa, a student at the Association International School, during their visit to him at the Jubilee House, the country’s presidential residence, on Thursday, October 26.
