The head teacher of Besease M/A Primary School in the Ejisu municipality, Mr. George Darko, is appealing to the government, institutions, and individual citizens to assist in constructing a KG (Kindergarten) block to enhance early childhood education.
Due to the lack of adequate classroom space for KG pupils, teachers at the school have been forced to combine two classrooms’ worth of pupils into one class, which poses significant challenges to teaching and learning.
Mr. George Darko made this plea during the celebration of the school’s foundation day and a fundraising event aimed at building a KG block for Besease M/A Primary School.
The chairman for the occasion, Mr. Kwadwo Ohemeng Asumaning, emphasized the importance of promoting quality education, especially at the kindergarten level.
He urged parents to prioritize providing their children with quality education and to refrain from spending on unnecessary things that won’t benefit their children.
The Guest speaker for the occasion, who also serves as the Gyaasehene for Ejisu Traditional Council, Osahene Boadu III, used the opportunity to call on key stakeholders in the community to support the younger generation with quality education, preventing them from joining negative groups or engaging in harmful activities.
