The Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress, Anthony Yaw Baah, has praised Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare and the leadership of the Police Service for their ongoing collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the country.

During a meeting held at the Police Headquarters on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, Mr. Anthony Baah noted that the police’s new leadership approach is truly exemplifying the institution’s motto, ‘service with integrity’.

He cited road safety data that suggests improvements under the leadership of Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare.

Mr. Baah underscored that the approach adopted by the new police leadership is giving a tangible meaning to the police’s motto of “service with integrity.”

He expressed his belief that with this approach, the Ghana Police Service will be perceived as a service known for its integrity.

In response, the IGP stated that the police will continue to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure that this year’s Christmas season is safe and incident-free for everyone.
