Alhassan Salifu Bawah, a prominent member and financier of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, is urging party delegates to vote for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the November 4 conference.

He believes that Dr. Bawumia is the only aspirant with a compelling campaign message that can secure victory for the party and keep it in power.

In a statement, Alhassan Salifu Bawah, who also serves as a senior lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), expressed concerns about one of the leading aspirants, Kennedy Agyapong.

He pointed out that Agyapong had previously claimed that there was no way the NPP could win the general elections, which is why he should not be taken seriously.
