The International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) is a collaborative effort between insurance associations and partners, including the Microinsurance Network and the Munich Re Foundation, aimed at promoting the development and expansion of affordable insurance options for emerging economies.
The ICII brings together experts from over 50 countries to discuss and identify strategies for accelerating the growth and economic sustainability of inclusive insurance in emerging markets.
During the opening ceremony in Accra, the Acting Commissioner of Insurance, Mr. Michael Andoh, emphasized that the mission of the ICII is to create a non-profit platform where all stakeholders can present and discuss issues, policies, and state-of-the-art solutions for efficient, sustainable, and inclusive insurance products.
The conference aims to raise awareness about the demand for insurance among low-income segments and its potential.
The International Conference on Inclusive Insurance 2023 is scheduled to take place from October 23 to October 27, 2023.
