General Overseer, The Lord’s Pentecostal Church Int’l, calls on Ashaiman MP to address deplorable roads and advocate for Anti-Gay Bill

Apostle Eric Essandoh Anim Otoo, the General Overseer of The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International, has made an appeal to the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ashaiman constituency, Henry Norgbey, to advocate for the construction of roads in Ashaiman.

He emphasized that the current state of the roads is deplorable, rendering them virtually impassable. Residents have recently protested to draw attention to their demand for road repairs.

Apostle Eric Essandoh Anim Otoo expressed concern about the poor road conditions and the difficulties faced by his church members and others in the community.

He called on the MP to use his influence to expedite the construction of these essential roads.

Additionally, he urged the MP and his fellow parliamentarians to take prompt action in passing the anti-gay bill.

This appeal was made during the 62nd General Conference of The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International, held in Ashaiman Central, where a delegation was represented Apostle Eric Essandoh Anim Otoo.

Mr. Francis Dzamesi, the NDC Vice Chairman for the Ashaiman constituency, led a delegation to the program and spoke about the efforts made by the Member of Parliament (MP) to address the road issues.

He stated that the MP has been working diligently to have the roads repaired and that he has even used his personal resources, including the MPs common fund, to construct some roads in Ashaiman.

Mr. Dzamesi acknowledged that the government’s response to the road situation has been lacking but assured those in attendance that the MP is committed to taking action once the rainy season subsides.

He mentioned that the MP intends to engage contractors to fix the roads, and he urged Apostle Eric Essandoh Anim Otoo and The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International members to be patient while these efforts are underway.
