
The Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has called on the chiefs and residents of Mepe to work in partnership with the Ministry to address the educational challenges brought about by the Akosombo Dam spillage.
The spillage led to severe flooding in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region, causing disruption in formal education across various parts of the region.
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum stressed the importance of collaboration between all stakeholders, including the Mepe Traditional Council and leaders in the education sector, to address the difficulties faced by students and teachers in the affected area.
