The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources Dr. Freda Prempeh, says persons found guilty in the alleged illegal water connection across the country will be made to face the law.

According to her, those who are caught in the act will be prosecuted.

She cautioned the public to stay away from illegal connections and call on the company personnel to connect water to their homes instead of doing it illegally.

“I will advice everyone to stay away from illegal connections,” she stated.

The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh made this known at “Accounting for our Customers and Exhibition Program” organized by the Ghana Water Limited held at their headquarters in the Greater Accra Region.

In conclusion, the minister commended the Ghana Water limited for their good work and pledged to support the organization to the next level.
