A Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan has commissioned a 6-unit classroom block with a smart ICT centre for the University of Ghana Staff Village Basic School.
According to her, this is part of the MP’s efforts to improve educational outcomes in the district, which had been lagging in terms of infrastructural development in schools.
She reiterated her commitment to providing a serene and congenial environment for school children to study in the Ayawaso West Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
She also charged the school authorities to maintain the classroom blocks for they to stand the test of time and for future generations.
On her part, the Headmistress of the University Staff Primary, Mrs Doris Amponsah reiterated the concerns about the infrastructural gaps that existed in the school.
She lauded the MP and the Minister for Education for making efforts to bridge the infrastructural gaps that existed.
