Officers of the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission have initiated actions to seize bush meat from chop bar operators in several areas.

Over 100 bush meats, including those preserved in refrigerators and those being served to customers, have been confiscated.

These actions are being taken to enforce the ban on hunting that is currently in effect.

The affected chop bar operators are located in the Awutu Senya Wast District, Gomoa East and West District, and Effutu Municipality.
