The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to hold its Presidential Primaries on November 4th, and the Presidential Elections Committee has announced that the elections will take place in the party’s constituencies across the country.
According to Prof. Michael Oquaye, the Chairman of the Committee, every constituency will have a polling center for the elections.
Over 200,000 NPP delegates will participate in the elections to select the party’s Presidential Candidate for the 2024 election. Four candidates are vying for the presidential slot, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, MP for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong, former MP for Mampong Francis Addai-Nimoh, and former Agric Minister Dr. Owusu Akoto Afriyie.
Prof. Michael Oquaye has assured that the elections will be conducted in a free and fair manner.
The outcome of these primaries will determine the party’s candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
