Theresa Kufuor, born on October 25, 1935, was widely recognized as the wife of former President John Agyekum Kufuor and served as the First Lady of Ghana from 2001 to 2009.

Despite her prominent role, she maintained a low profile in the political arena. She had a background as a retired nurse and midwife, and her contributions to healthcare and society were commendable.
