During a gathering with polling station coordinators, electoral area coordinators, and constituency executives from Dormaa West, East, and Central as part of his campaign to become the 2024 flag bearer, Ghana’s Vice President, Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia, issued a challenge to former President John Dramani Mahama.
Vice President Bawumia challenged Mahama to name any policy he initiated during his 30-year political career in Ghana.
He also took the opportunity to encourage Ghanaians to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and vote for a third consecutive term in office, breaking the “8-year cycle” that has been a pattern in Ghanaian politics.
Furthermore, Bawumia promised party supporters that, if elected into power, he would ensure that his appointees are selected from all 275 constituencies across the country.
