Family of deceased UEW student demands answers amidst controversy over cause of death

The family of a deceased level 300 student at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), is seeking justice for her death.

The student, Rita Anane, was found dead by hanging in her hostel room, and her family is disputing the official explanation of suicide.

According to the family, there were no signs pointing to suicide, and they believe the circumstances surrounding her death are suspicious.

They argue that the knot tied with a sponge on a ceiling fan is not the type that could result in hanging.

Christopher Yaw Abisah, a family member, stated that they will use all available means, including spiritual ones, to seek justice for their sister.

They are committed to finding out the truth about her death.
