Former Central Bank Governor, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, has criticized the Bank of Ghana for assigning the Head of Security to receive a petition from the Minority and protestors.
Dr. Duffour argues that the Secretary of the Bank should have been the one to receive the petition, in accordance with the tradition observed by central banks around the world.
He believes that this decision by the Bank of Ghana’s management is unfair to the Minority Members of Parliament and the many Ghanaians who have concerns about the bank’s operations.
