Today, a delegation of prominent political figures, led by the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, and the General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua (Esq), visited the residence of former President John Agyekum Kuffuor to extend their heartfelt condolences on the passing of his wife, the former First Lady of the Republic, H.E. Theresah Kuffuor.
Among those present was George Krobea Asante, Deputy National Communications Director, who also expressed his condolences and prayers for the Kuffuor family during this challenging time.
Mrs. Theresah Kuffuor, who served as Ghana’s First Lady from 2001 to 2009 during her husband’s presidency, passed away recently, leaving a void in the hearts of many Ghanaians.
In a statement, George Krobea Asante remarked, “Earlier today, I joined the National leadership of our party to visit the residence of former President of the Republic, H.E. John Agyekum Kuffuor, to extend our heartfelt condolences to him and his family for the passing of his wife, the former First Lady of the Republic, H.E. Theresah Kuffuor.”
He added, “It is my fervent prayer for the good Lord to strengthen and comfort our former President and his family in this difficult moment. May the soul of our beloved mother be granted peaceful and eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus till we meet again.”
