A man in his 30s, identified as Joe, was found dead in Ashaiman, specifically in Lebanon Zone 5, near an area known as Pink Lady. The man, who was an electrician and had a wife and child, was discovered deceased.
Richard Horton, a member of the Unity Committee for the Nii Komiete Electoral Area, reported that it appeared the incident occurred during the night, but initially, people assumed the man was drunk and had passed out.
However, upon closer examination, it became clear that the man had died under suspicious circumstances.
The body of the deceased was transported to the Tema General Government Hospital for further investigation and an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Residents in the area expressed concerns about the increasing incidents of violence and crime, including robberies.
They called on the government to intervene and provide security to address their safety concerns.
