Residents of Drobonso express profound gratitude to Chief Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw for dedicated leadership

Residents of Drobonso, the district capital of the Sekyere Afram Plains District in the Ashanti Region, have expressed deep gratitude to their chief, Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw (Otumfuo Brempong), for his selfless and dedicated leadership that continues to benefit the community.

According to the residents, despite having a Member of Parliament (MP), District Chief Executive (DCE), and assembly members in the community, the contributions of Chief Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw overshadow all of them.

They believe that without his leadership, the community would face significant challenges in various social amenities.

The areas in which Chief Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw has made substantial contributions include education, healthcare delivery, electricity, access to clean drinking water, the layout of Drobonso, the ongoing construction of the Drobonso palace, the establishment of the district assembly, and ensuring security in the area.

Furthermore, the residents mentioned that Chief Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw has provided financial support to vulnerable and needy individuals in the community.

These sentiments were expressed during a courtesy call made by the residents on Chief Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw to convey their gratitude on his 22-year tenure as the chief of Drobonso.

In response, Chief Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubinsiaw took the opportunity to appeal to the government and the forestry commission to allocate land for burying the deceased in the community, as their current cemetery is located dangerously close to their main source of water.

He expressed concern that water from the cemetery could contaminate their primary water source, posing a health risk to the community.
