Ghana to host 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference- Cyril Nsiah

The Clerk to Parliament, Mr. Cyril K O. Nsiah, has officially announced that the 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference will be held in Accra, Ghana, this weekend.

The conference is scheduled to take place from Saturday, September 30th to Friday, October 6th, 2023, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

This significant event aims to promote dialogue and cooperation among member states to address pressing global challenges.

Delegates from nine regions of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), totaling 686 participants, will be in attendance.

Mr. Cyril K O. Nsiah also outlined some activities scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, as part of the conference celebration.

These activities include a tour of natural resources and tourist sites in Ghana, such as Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle, Akosombo Dam, Dodi Island, and a Durbar at Manhyia, where they will be addressed by the Asantehene, Otumfo Osei Tutu II.
