Ghana’s escalating employment crisis is evolving into a national security threat- Alan Kyeremanten

Former presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kyerematen, has raised concerns about Ghana’s escalating employment crisis, which he believes is evolving into a national security threat.

He cited the recent three-day “Occupy Julorbi House” protests in Accra, organized by the Democracy Hub, as evidence of the severity of the issue.

Mr. Kyerematen expressed these views while announcing his resignation from the NPP and outlining his plans to run as an Independent Candidate in the 2024 general elections.

He highlighted the challenges posed by the employment crisis, pointing out that every year, more than 300,000 graduates from tertiary institutions in Ghana enter the job market with limited prospects of finding employment.

He noted that the public sector is not a viable option due to its already bloated nature.

He also emphasized that the employment crisis is gradually transforming into a national security threat, as demonstrated by the recent protests.

Mr. Kyerematen criticized the initial reaction of the police in handling some of the protestors and stressed the need for a change that would offer sustainable solutions to the challenges facing the country.

Alan Kyerematen’s decision to resign from the NPP and contest as an independent candidate has caused significant shockwaves in Ghana’s political landscape.

I do believe all of the ideas you have offered in your post. They’re very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for newbies. Could you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
