Ghana launches participation in International Horticultural Expo in Qatar to strengthen international image and economic ties

Ghana’s participation in the International Horticultural Expo in Qatar has been launched in Accra with a call on horticultural exporters to get involved.
By participating in the Expo, Ghana wants to strengthen its image in the international arena and establish new economic contacts.
Speaking at the press launch, Commissioner General of Ghana for Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar, Dr. Afua Asabea Asare said the Expo will provide Ghana’s exporters in the horticultural space the opportunity to showcase selected grown in Ghana products at the farmer markets and the Cultural Bazaar.
She added that the Expo is scheduled to take place in Doha Qatar from 2nd October 2023 to 28th March 2024 aimed to encourage, inspire and inform participants about innovative solutions for reducing desertification and establishing a sustainable environment.
The theme for the Expo is “Green Desert, Better Environment”
