Ministry of Roads and Highways initiates swift response to Doli Bridge collapse

The Ministry of Roads and Highways has taken swift action to address the critical situation caused by the collapse of the Doli Bridge.

This unfortunate incident has disrupted road transport between Bole in the Savannah Region and Wa, the capital of the Upper West Region.

As an immediate measure, the Ministry has announced plans to construct a bailey bridge to serve as a temporary solution.

Kwasi Amoako-Attah, the Minister for the Roads and Highways Sector, made this announcement after leading a government delegation to assess the extent of the damage.

He emphasized the severity of the situation, describing it as a major disaster.
