Decomposed human body found in River Nkyenkyenkye in Dormaa

In a disturbing discovery, a decomposed human body has been found in river Nkyenkyenkye in Dormaa-Ahenkro, the Municipal capital of Dormaa Central Municipal.

This river, named after the local first division football team, Nkyenkyenkye FC, serves the farmers of the area.

The state of decomposition of the body is so advanced that identifying the gender of the deceased has become challenging.

Hon. Atta Awuni Aka (Atta VRA), the Assembly member for Schaefer Electoral Area, reported that residents in the area noticed an unusual odor emanating from the river.

Strangely, no one from the locality has been reported missing, making it difficult to ascertain the identity of the deceased.

Local residents expressed their shock and concern about this grim discovery.

The Ghana Police, in collaboration with the Municipal Environmental Health Directorate, have taken the remains to the Presbyterian hospital morgue for preservation and further investigation.
